Netbook Lenovo IdeaPad S12 (Ion)
The Lenovo IdeaPad S12 was made entirely with Intel (processor and VGA). Lenovo is too late announcing new netbook that compatible with the new trends. When NVdia launched own chipset called ion that can work together with intel Atom Processor, Lenovo had no make this system in their netbook product.
Even so In 12 inch layer Lenovo S12 is a the best netbook for consumments. But looks their competitors had moved such as HP Mini 311 and Asus EeePC 1201HA, Lenovo finally launched IdeaPad S12 (Ion). It also comes with 3gb ram, windows seven Home premium ( the new operating system from microsoft). The price is starting at 650$.
But the bad news is Many experienced user think the lenovo IdeaPad S12 is made with compelling.
The S12 (Ion) have same design with original lenovo netbook. So it is not suprrised for design. It comes with the same shiny plastic. As mini notebook, Lenovo IdeaPad S12 (ion) is still heavy netbook. The LCD layer has 12 inches and 1,280-by-800 resolution. When I were looking in keyboard, I am considered and liked that The keyboards are closely related to Lenovo’s ThinkPad line. It give you pleasure while typing.
In the Asus 1201HA and HP 311, lenovo S12 ion is almost identical in slot and port (hree USB ports, a multimedia card reader, Ethernet, and VGA-Out ). The touchpad is awesome, especially the mouse button is perfectly touched.
Nvidia Ion Chipset can optimizes high definition playback, user can use this port to stream content to a larger display or an HDTV.
To save data lenovo offer IdeaPad with 320 GB harddrive, In the market, this netbook is included as the largest capacity, the rest of netbook 12 inches would only in 160 or 250 gb (when this article wrote).
The result when lenovo include Nvidia ion in their netbook is dramatically better and get many attention from many expert. Watching high definition on this netbook is simply better than any another netbook.For example it can played back 1080p video clips in MPEG2, , MP4 and WMV formats beautifully.
The netbook works well in 2d game such world of Warcraft . And can run a heavy application such as Adobe Pothoshop CS4. With 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 is really not exactly a speed demon and that’s way the S12 (Ion) is still considered a netbook, because ion still need Processor.
Many expert say Lenovo ideaPad S12 (ion) would easily be a the netbook in the market. And I myself suggest you to buy this product.But if you don’t really need a HD playback you can only purchase a original IdeaPad S12 (starting at $429). Lenovo might too late launch a netbook with ion, but this company can prove they make a good and comfortable product for mobile living. I’d recommend picking up right away thi netbook. I don’t really know about netbook, but i am still learn to get experience and find another useful information that will add this article review. I will soon be updated if I get new information about this netbook. But I don’t promise to do it.
