In this article I am going to review the best VGA in 2009 and may be 2010. I have categorized its to each category. There are a VGA card Enthusiast, VGA card High-end, Video card Mid-range and the last is Video card Low-end. I am finished the review in the end 2009 but I am still sure the VGAs is one of the best video card in 2010.

POV GTX 295 896MB DDR3 (The best VGA Card Enthusiast)

POV GTX 295 uses GPU GT200 with B1 revision. This VGA has total memory in 1792 MHz with GDDR3 type that uses bandwith until 896 bit. Because this video card is solution of dual GPU, so to the shared processor is excessively provide with 480SP, 160TMU and 56ROP, The GPU clock only achieve 576 MHz, Clock GDDR3 2016 Mhz and the clock shader is only till 1242 Mhz.

In the PCB design, This VGA from Point of View still used PCB reference from nVIDIA. In the cooling system, the heatsink fan still uses heatsink fan reference from nVDIA. The Idle temperature is 56 C, and when full load achieve 74C.

The result isn’t enough  satisfactory, In the low resolution, especially for the S.T.A.L.K.E.R clear sky benchmark gaming test only achieve 24 fps frame rate as well as in the high resolution especially from Crysis Warhead gaming test and S.T.A.L.K.E.R Clear sky that each other only get 15 fps and 8 fps.

DA GTX 260 Sonic 896Mb GDDR3 (The best VGA card high-End)

The high-end product from digital Allience is GTX 260 Sonic, This time uses GPU GT200 B1 that has 55 nm manufactoring, 216 shader processing, 72 texture mapping units and 28 raster operations. Meanwhile for the GPU clock is 625 Mhz, GDDR3 clock 2200 MHz and shader clock1348 is equipped with 896 MB memory GDDR5 with a bandwidth as much as 448-bit.

This High end Video card from Digital allience is really no following the NVdia standard system. For the red PCB is full custom, In the HSF dual slot protects the VGA is non reference but is is very good to protect the GPU because is equipped with three heatpipe. The DA GTX 260 Sonic 896Mb GDDR3 also provides a two big fan and heatsink base alumunium usb vga adapter. I am not doubt if i purchasing this VGA because in the Idle temperature is only 47C and the full load is 74C.

Video card Mid-range and Video card Low-end will be reviewed in the next article.
